The purpose of these General Terms of Use (hereinafter, “G.T.U.”) is to define the terms and conditions of access to and use of the TRIGGERS REPORTS mobile application (hereinafter, the “Application”) and the services offered therein (hereinafter, the “Services”), as well as to define the rights and obligations of the parties in this context.
This version of the T.G.U. applies to visitors and users of the Application (hereinafter, the “Users”). They are to be read in conjunction with our Privacy Policy.
By downloading or using the Application, these Terms are automatically applicable to you. Please make sure that you have read them and understood all the terms. By visiting or using the Application, you are presumed to have read and accepted these Terms. As the terms of these Conditions may change, the User is invited to consult them regularly.
If you do not agree with the provisions of these Terms, you are not allowed to use our Services and must leave the Application immediately.

Description of the Application
TRIGGERS REPORTS is a free application, with a paying evolution, allowing the User to be informed of exceptional events occurring in certain geographical areas at risk and to reassure his relatives about his situation in a simple click.
The Services offered on the Application are likely to evolve at any time in order to meet the expectations of Users and to take into account technological developments. TRIGGERS REPORTS reserves the right to add, modify or delete Services at any time, without being held responsible in this regard.
Conditions of access and use
3.1 Conditions of access
Access to the Application and its functionalities requires the prior registration of the User and the creation of an account. When registering, the User is asked to provide a certain amount of personal data (last name, first name, telephone number and email address). The User undertakes to provide accurate, up-to-date, complete and non-misleading data, and to update them regularly. The update of the information must be done personally by the User via his user account.
The User’s personal data is processed only in accordance with the provisions of our Privacy Policy.
The User accesses the Application by means of a login and a password chosen at the time of registration. These identifiers are strictly personal and confidential. The User is solely responsible for their confidentiality and the use made of them. The User undertakes to use the Application personally and not to allow any third party to use it in his place or on his behalf, unless he bears full responsibility. In the event of loss, theft or fraudulent use of the User’s login and password, the User must immediately notify TRIGGERS REPORTS so that it can take appropriate measures.
TRIGGERS REPORTS places great importance on the informed consent and capacity of discernment of its Users. For this reason, we believe that you must be at least twelve (12) years of age to install and use the Application. If you are under twelve (12) years of age and you are installing or using the Application, we assume that you have obtained the prior consent of your parents.
You have the option to download a paid upgrade of the Application to access additional Services. These Additional Services are available in the Apple Store and in the Google Play Store. The price will always be clearly stated before any confirmation of your purchase. TRIGGERS REPORTS does not process payments related to purchases made; these are processed by external payment providers or payment service providers. Some payment providers may charge an additional fee, depending on your country of residence. Please make sure that you have read and understood the terms and conditions of the external payment provider.
Any purchase is considered final and cannot be refunded. By clicking on the “Buy Now” button, you agree to immediate execution of the paid Service. Since we are giving you immediate access to your purchase, you expressly waive your right to cancel your purchase or to receive a refund. By accepting these Terms and Conditions, you expressly acknowledge that TRIGGERS REPORTS is not obligated to provide any form of refund.
If you are under the age of 18 (or under the age of legal majority in your country of residence), you must have the prior consent of your parents or guardians before making any purchase.
3.2 Conditions of use
All Users shall use the Application in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, but also in accordance with applicable law, the rights of third parties and the general principles applicable on the Internet.
The User agrees not to reproduce, duplicate, copy or resell the Application, in whole or in part. The Application may only be used for strictly personal and non-commercial purposes.
The User also agrees not to use the Application to disseminate content that would result in harm to other Users or that would damage the Application or reduce its effectiveness, such as the propagation of malicious software, such as computer viruses, malware, worms, trojans and cancelbots. Also prohibited is the proliferation of unsolicited and/or commercial messages, as well as junk mail, spamming or chain letters.
The User undertakes not to use the information published on the Application in an illicit or illegal manner, or in a way that may infringe the rights of TRIGGERS REPORTS or third parties, in particular the right to privacy and intellectual property rights.
The User agrees not to use the Application for decompilation or reverse engineering purposes in order to discover the source code of the Application. The User shall also refrain from modifying, adapting or translating the Application, or creating any type of derivative work based on the Application.
In the event that the User violates these Terms, applicable law, the rights of third parties or general principles applicable on the Internet, TRIGGERS REPORTS reserves the right to take all reasonable and appropriate measures. TRIGGERS REPORTS may, in particular, temporarily or permanently refuse to register a User, deprive the User of the right to use the site, or delete the User’s profile. TRIGGERS REPORTS is not obligated to give prior notice to the User of the measures taken, nor is it obligated to provide any form of compensation.
Availability
The Application is available in the Apple Store and Google Play Store. TRIGGERS REPORTS shall not be liable for any unavailability of the Application or additional Services due to Apple Store or Google Play Store.
The Application is offered for mobile terminals or tablets using the Apple iOS (iOS 8 or higher) or Android operating systems. The User declares that he/she is fully aware of the fact that the Application works by means of a mobile network and an internet connection (via wifi or 3g/4g). The availability of the said networks therefore conditions the access to the Services.
The User is aware that access to the Application may generate internet connection costs which remain exclusively at his/her expense. The rights and obligations arising from the contractual relationship between the mobile telephone operator and the User remain applicable when using the Application.
TRIGGERS REPORT will take all reasonable and necessary steps to ensure the accessibility, security and proper functioning of the Application. However, we cannot offer you any guarantee of absolute operability. The Application and related Services are provided “as is” and “as available”. It is therefore an obligation of means only.
Limitation of liability
The use of the Application is always at the User’s own risk. Thus, TRIGGERS REPORTS is not responsible for any damage, direct or indirect, of any kind, resulting from:
Possible malfunctions, interruptions or defects of the Application
Inability to access the Application
The content and/or use of sites linked to the Application to which Users may have access from the Application
Errors, omissions, changes or updates to the Application
Information provided by third parties
The Application does not in any way replace the instructions that may be issued by the competent authorities (States, law enforcement agencies, emergency services, NGOs, etc.).
Termination of Service
The Uer may at any time and for any reason decide to terminate his right to use the Application by ceasing to use the Application or by uninstalling it. The User is under no obligation to inform TRIGGERS REPORTS of its intention to terminate its right of use.
This termination of use does not necessarily imply the automatic deletion of the user profile. If the User wishes to permanently delete his/her user profile, he/she must send a request by e-mail to TRIGGERS REPORTS ([email protected]). TRIGGERS REPORTS undertakes to comply with the request within one (1) month of receipt. For more information on this subject, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
TRIGGERS REPORTS reserves the right to discontinue providing the Application or to interrupt its operation at any time, without prior notice and without liability.
Privacy and personal data processing
The (personal) data provided by the User is collected and processed by TRIGGERS REPORTS. TRIGGERS REPORTS assures its Users that it attaches the utmost importance to the protection of their privacy and personal data, and that it always undertakes to communicate clearly and transparently on this point. TRIGGERS REPORTS is committed to respecting the applicable legislation in this regard. You can find more information about the processing of your personal data in our .
Intellectual Property
The Application uses technology developed by TRIGGERS REPORTS. The Application and its content are protected by intellectual property rights. This protection belongs to all rights holders, namely TRIGGERS REPORTS and its licensees and suppliers. By “content” we mean images, text, video, audio, drawings, articles, notes, trade names, logos, etc. All such content is protected by copyright, computer program law, database law, trademark law, design law and other applicable (intellectual property) rights. The technical character of the Application itself is protected by copyright, software law and database law.
Each User is granted a limited right to access, use, and display our Application and its contents. This right is granted on a non-exclusive, non-transferable basis and may only be used for personal, non-commercial purposes. Any unauthorized use of the intellectual property rights described in this section will be prosecuted by TRIGGERS REPORTS.
Final provisions
Should the existence or validity of one or more of the above provisions be impaired, this shall not affect the existence or validity of the remaining provisions of this agreement. In such a case, we shall have the right to replace the unenforceable provision with a provision that is legally valid and similar in scope.
The headings we use in these Conditions are always purely illustrative. No legal value can therefore be given to them.
The present General Conditions are subject to Belgian law. In the event of a dispute relating to their interpretation and/or execution, the parties agree to first seek an amicable solution. In the absence of an amicable solution, the dispute will be submitted to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the judicial district of Brussels.
Position:
The user’s location is used for their own security.
This allows the Trigger’s Reports users to whom he sends his health status (I’m fine / I’m not fine) to know where he is so that, in case of need, he can be rescued.
Contact:
Using a user’s contacts allows him to:
1- To create groups of people who, at his request, can be informed of his state of health (I’m fine / I’m not fine) based on a current event (politics / health / natural disaster / attacks)
2- To ask the health status of his contacts who, like him, use Trigger’s Reports

Privacy Policy
1/ Use of the Application
Any visitor or user with a user profile (hereinafter, the “User”) on the TRIGGERS REPORTS Application (hereinafter, the “Application”) discloses a certain amount of personal data. Personal data is information that allows us to identify you as an individual, whether or not we actually do so. You are identifiable when one or more pieces of information can be directly or indirectly linked to you as a natural person.
We collect and process your personal data in accordance with the applicable legal provisions. Any reference in this Privacy Policy to the “Privacy Law” constitutes a reference to the Law of 8 December 1992 on the protection of privacy with regard to the processing of personal data. Any reference in this Privacy Policy to the “Regulation” constitutes a reference to the Regulation of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data.
By using our Application, the User declares that he/she has read this Privacy Policy and agrees to the collection and processing of his/her personal data in the manner described in this document. TRIGGERS REPORTS reserves the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time. Any substantial changes will always be clearly communicated to Users. However, you are advised to consult this document regularly.
2/ Who processes your personal data?

TRIGGERS REPORTS determines, alone or jointly with others, what data is collected, the purposes of the processing, and the technical and legal means surrounding the processing of your personal data.
2.2. The subcontractor(s)
Subcontractor” means any natural or legal person who processes Users’ personal data at the request and on behalf of TRIGGERS REPORTS.

3/ What personal data is collected?
If you use our Application, you must register by creating a user profile. Through registration, we collect all personal data that is relevant to the provision of our services, such as username, password, last name, first name, email address, and phone number. Additional personal data may also be collected during subsequent use of the Application and services, such as your address, gender, or geolocation data.
If you choose to open our Application using the credentials of a third party application (e.g., Facebook), you authorize us to collect and process any personal data found on that application.
We also collect anonymous data. This is technical data used for internal purposes and allows us to have an overview of the navigation of the Users on our Application.
Under no circumstances do we collect or process sensitive data, such as data on race or ethnicity, political opinions, religion or any other philosophical belief, membership of a trade union, health, sexual orientation, etc.
4/ What are the purposes of the collection and processing of your personal data?
TRIGGERS REPORTS collects your personal data for the sole purpose of providing you with a safe, personalized and optimal experience using the Application. Extensive use of the Application will result in more extensive collection of your personal information.
The processing of your personal data is essential for the operation of the Application and the services offered therein. The processing of your personal data is done solely for the following purposes:
To allow the User to have access to his/her user profile and to use the Application and the services offered.
To provide the User with a generalized but also personalized service, which includes sending newsletters, sending any useful and necessary information to the User, providing support in case of questions or remarks, following up on complaints regarding the functioning of the Application.
To detect and protect the User from fraud, error, and criminal behavior.
Prevent and report the presence of the User in an area at risk.
When you visit or use our Application, a certain amount of personal data is collected for statistical purposes. This data is intended to optimize your user experience and to detect possible errors on the Application. These data are the following: your IP address, the geographical area of consultation, the day and time of consultation and the services used. By visiting or using our Application, you expressly agree to the collection and processing of this data for statistical purposes and in the manner described above.
5/ Who receives your personal data?
Your personal data is, in the first place, intended to be used exclusively for internal purposes of TRIGGERS REPORTS. TRIGGERS REPORTS has taken all possible technical and legal measures to prevent unauthorized access to and unlawful use of your personal data. Your personal data will therefore not be sold, given or passed on to third parties.
6/ What are my rights?
6.1. Guarantee of lawful and secure processing of your personal data
TRIGGERS REPORTS processes the personal data of its Users in a fair and lawful manner. This implies the following guarantees:
Your personal data is collected and processed only for the legitimate purposes set out in this Privacy Policy.
Your personal data is collected and processed in an appropriate, relevant and non-excessive manner.
We keep your personal data for 3 months, or at least as long as necessary to achieve the purposes stated above
The risk of accidental or unauthorized deletion of data, accidental loss, alteration or unauthorized access to data, as well as any other unauthorized processing is reduced to a minimum. In the event of an intrusion into its computer systems, TRIGGERS REPORTS will immediately take all necessary and reasonable measures to limit the damage to a minimum.
6.2. Right of access/correction/deletion of your personal data
If you are able to prove your identity, you have the right to obtain from TRIGGERS REPORTS confirmation of the processing of your personal data at any time. If TRIGGERS REPORTS does process your personal data, you also have the right to access information about the processing of your personal data. You have the right to obtain information about the purposes of the processing, the categories of data affected by the processing, the categories of recipients to whom the data are transmitted, the criteria used to determine the duration of the storage of your data, and the rights you have in accordance with the applicable legislation.
If you wish to exercise your right of access, you must send a request to TRIGGERS REPORTS by registered mail or by e-mail ([email protected]). TRIGGERS REPORTS undertakes to respond within one (1) month of receiving your request.
Incorrect or incomplete personal data can be corrected or deleted at any time. It is primarily the User’s responsibility to make the necessary changes in his or her user account. You may exercise your right to correction or deletion by means of an additional declaration sent to TRIGGERS REPORTS. TRIGGERS REPORTS undertakes to comply with the request within one (1) month of receiving it. Since the deletion of data is mainly related to visibility, it is possible that the deleted personal data will still be retained temporarily.
You also have the right to have your personal data deleted without unreasonable delay. You can exercise this right in the following cases:
When your personal data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected or processed;
Where you withdraw your consent and there is no other legal basis for the processing;
Where you object to the processing and there is no compelling legitimate reason for the processing;
When your data has been unlawfully processed;
When your data must be deleted to comply with a legal obligation.
TRIGGERS REPORTS independently assesses the presence of the above-mentioned foundations.
6.3. Right to limit the processing of your personal data
You have the right to obtain a limitation of the processing of your personal data in the following cases:
For as long as it takes TRIGGERS REPORTS to verify the accuracy of your personal data in the event of a dispute;
Where the processing of your personal data is unlawful and you have requested its restriction rather than deletion;
When TRIGGERS REPORTS no longer needs your personal data for the purposes of processing but you still need the data for legal proceedings;
For the time necessary for TRIGGERS REPORTS to verify that one of the grounds for the right to erasure is met.
If you wish to exercise your right to limit the processing of your personal data, you must send a request to TRIGGERS REPORTS by registered mail or by e-mail ([email protected]). TRIGGERS REPORTS undertakes to comply with your request within one (1) month of receipt.
In addition, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time where there are compelling legitimate grounds relating to your particular situation. TRIGGERS REPORTS will then stop processing your personal data, unless it can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your right to object.
You can exercise your right by sending a request to TRIGGERS REPORTS by registered mail or by e-mail ([email protected]). TRIGGERS REPORTS undertakes to respond within one (1) month of receiving your request.
You have the right to request to receive the personal data you have provided in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format. You also have the right to transfer such data to another controller where the processing is based on your consent.
You may exercise your right to portability by sending a request to TRIGGERS REPORTS by registered mail or by e-mail ([email protected]). TRIGGERS REPORTS undertakes to respond to your request within one (1) month of receiving it.
You have the right to withdraw your consent to the collection and/or processing of your personal data at any time. Any processing of your data that has taken place prior to the withdrawal of your consent will of course remain valid. You also have the right to lodge a complaint about the processing of your personal data by TRIGGERS REPORTS with the competent privacy protection body in your country.
You may exercise your right to withdraw your consent by sending a request to TRIGGERS REPORTS by registered mail or by e-mail ([email protected]). TRIGGERS REPORTS undertakes to respond to your request within one (1) month of receipt of the request.
